PCGS backed up? Need to hire more help?

I sent in my first submission to our host which they received on the 20th of December last year. At that time the turnaround time for a modern submission was 15 business days. When I looked at estimated turnaround times yesterday morning the time for moderns was 21 days. Then last night it went to 23 days. Maybe its just my opinion but is our host short staffed or just overwhelmed? Also of note is that their goal for modern submission turnaround time is ten days. Opinions??

Those are all times when grading slows down and graders are off or otherwise pre-occupied (flying to FUN, grading at FUN, flying back).
So a 6-9 day delay would be understandable during that time, I would think.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I second the above.

My small submission of 8 modern coins for grading was received by PCGS on December 2nd. Still no results, I checked on line 3 minutes ago. Date received: 12/2/2011. Status: OK

OGP?

Then there will be whining threads as the fees had to be raised to cover additional salaries

Regular 22
Economy 26
Modern 23
Express 7
I guess I should have just sent my coins in using economy. 22 days for regular is SLOW!! 7 days for express, well that's a long time for 5o bucks a pop. If people just bury their heads in the sand and say nothing then they think people are ok with longer service times. Many of us are not happy about it!!!

OGP?
Doesn't OGP= ORIGINAL GOVERNMENT PACKAGING? or do I have my terminology wrong?
<< <i>I remember sending coins in right after PCGS opened in 1986, and the turnaround for regular service was about 3 months and express was about 4 - 5 weeks. >>
The beauty of competition solved that problem.
