What do I have here?

I was going thru some stuff in the back of the safe and came across this one. Looked it up on the Bay and there is only one being offered at the moment with none sold recently. On the one that is for sale, the guy is asking a huge premium. Question is why? It doesn't appear to be a poured bar, I weighed it and the 10+ weight is correct, it actually weighs 10.2 ty oz's.
Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure how old it is, Rich, but I have seen several of these over the last few months. Including a 100 oz version. They were selling at roughly generic pricing.

Thanks guys. There's got to be a reason that eBayer is asking almost $700 for the thing though.

If it is from a seller where all his stuff is taken against a blue background, take a look at his other pricing. He's got quite a few 10oz bars for $697.

Some ebay sellers consistently ask absurd prices and hope to snag the foolish. That bar does not merit $700.

We handled a lot of those, and I mean a lot, at the shop I retired from. Never got a premium for them, and would usually let them go for a little less.
    The silver is good.

It was the ebay seller I was thinking of. One of those bars has been listed since April 2011, which lends credence to the comments from OnlyGoldIsMoney and the good Capn.

Sounds good guys and thanks for the comments. Just thought that with only 1 that is currently being offered on the Bay and for a premium price on top of it, thought I might've had something, but it sounds like I just have a 10.2 ty oz .999 silver bar that is kind of cool, but is just silver.
    thanks again for the help.
