Killed my stars. Normally I don't care but I just had my first month of 20% discount and this guy buried it. My life will never be the same.

It's best to auction off cheap stuff under a different account. Ebay really shouldn't weigh fb from .99 items the same as expensive stuff but it is what it is and cheap purchases will always bring you the most complaints.

I couldn't agree more. When you sell items for $.99 you are dealing with the same crowd that b*tches at Walmart service desks all over the country.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

I think ebay employs people to bid on low dollar stuff and then ding stars and feedback so as not to give the biggest discounts
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

Nothing, don't worry about it. Let him buy from you.

A great idea for a conspiracy theory! Ebay takes away 20% discounts to line their own pockets. I like it!

What's conspiratorial about that? Do you really have any doubt that ebay shills their own sellers' stars?

I doubt that the OP is the first one to have it happen to him.

    +2

Not only are they the same people who raise hell at Walmart, they are the same people who scout out craigslist buying Michael Jordan ACE authenticated hats for $50 and think they are getting a steal.

Lee....did he leave you glowing feedback and ding your stars, or was your feedback pretty crappy too?
