Holidays hurt the poppage impatient!

2 items, 20 business day, submission
Subbed, in person to PSA, 45 days ago
Logged, finally by PSA, 35 days ago
Today is Business Day #21... still no poppage
Last Friday, and today, I'm addicted to the "Your Account" page... and often have found myself going back and looking at past submission results just to remind myself what poppage looks like!

I so do this... I have a problem.
I have a ticket sub (20-day) and a pack sub (45-day) out right now. Logged on 12/7. Not even close to being overdue yet, but still check on the hour... even if that hour is midnight.
I have 6 subs in right now, but after reading this post I checked again...one popped! haha

EDITED:
Two months and ten days is the longest I have waited although I rarely sub more than 50 cards with the most ever being 75. I am two weeks away from tying this dubious record wait.

<< <i>Logged 11/7/11 and still nothing for me under the 45 day CC special in November. I think the longest I have waited is two and a half months so I still have a few weeks before any personal records are broken. This sub should put me over the top with a number one registry as the current best set is retired. I think that is what has made me especially impatient with this one.

I'm always curious to know what's in a submission that takes this long. I know group subs often take forever, and I maintain it's due to a wide variety of issues in the sub. My subs tend to be fairly homogeneous - a small range of years and only BB or FB - and they always pop fast. The one exception was a sub I accepted piggybackers on, and it contained both vintage and modern.
When it comes to subs, I don't think size matters.

It was just a bunch of 1952 Bowman (35ish) under the #2 special for December. I believe that the easier the cards are to get past the spec/verification department, the faster the process might go. Since all if these were the same year, I'm sure that helped with paperwork, etc. I may be wrong, but that explaination seems logical.
The rest of my submissions that I'm waiting on are a very mixed bag and were received a month prior to this one.

I only check about three times a day...
These are all modern 1985-1995. Not sure why it takes so long but I've had similar subs pop in a week or two? Seems once a year I get lucky and the rest pop between 40-50 days.

<< <i>I have four in process with the oldest being a Oct. CC special logged in 11/1 (55 cards). Taking into account holidays, shows, and weekends...I'm on day 44. If I add back in the week of 12/26 then I'm only on day 40.

I agree. A known thief should be banned.

Last time I had to wait this long, the results were really strong. I'm hoping for more of the same.

I've got a 45 day sub in as well from the November special... prior to my last 45 day sub (which took 48 business days to pop), I had roughly a dozen 45 day subs pop in 21 business days or less... so I'm expecting the trend to continue with that one popping somewhere around business day 60
