Background on the HOF-Posnanski

Tidbit-the 1946 ballot had 46 players who would eventually make the HOF,but none were elected that year. Foxx and Grove were among the players deemed unworthy.

    I guess at the time maybe the writers were thinking that the Hall of Fame would only include guys of the Cobb-Ruth-Johnson level.
