Univenture binders

Weeks ago, someone posted some black binders for $1.25 plus shipping. Regular price was $5.50. I was wondering if the guys that purchased them are happy?

I purchased some and I like the fact that the cards are enclosed and fit well inside. I am not a fan of the regular notebook ones. The cards and pages are real secure at times.

I am just wondering if anyone feels there might be damage to the cards in the long run since the cards sit more tightly on top of each other?
I would love to hear some feedback.

I have a little Topps run from 76 until 87 stored in them, and I'll be adding my 77-89 OPC run soon. I'm not concerned about the slightly more snug fit of these sets, but I'm NOT going to put anything with a high gloss finish in them.

I bought a bunch of these binders and I am very happy. I do not stuff too many cards in them however. I think I can fit 396 fairly well in these binders. I store them flat as opposed to standing which seems to work better for me. I really like that the binders keep dust and light away from the cards. Thank you to the original poster. I forget who recommended them. - Kevin

I just read the thread and ordered 15 of them. I was wondering if anyone here has the template for the binders that they could send to me?

Ugh. I kept putting off buying these. The link was good up to about a month ago. Anyone happen to stock up on these? I only need about 6-8.

I was just looking into these last week... here is the link to their binder page, but the sale/discount is no longer there. I'm in the same boat as you, I only need 4-6 of them. I like the 1-1/2" - 3 Ring Case View Binder.

Had a member contact me about selling some of these but they were spoken for before I could get back to him. image

Anyone else happen to snag extras of these? I can pay $40 shipped for 10 of them.

I can't really speak for them since I don't have them yet, but they seem to prevent that damaging wrap around you get with d-ring binders. I also like how they're enclosed all the way around, preventing page sag. They also seem to display really nice on the shelf, and I'm looking forward to making my own custom binder covers.

The snapping d-rings are built directly into the base of the plastic, so no worry about pages slipping between the ring and and back binding and possibly creasing cards...so many of my childhood cards were crimped like that. I love these binders and use them exclusively now.

Anyone have just one extra of these binders they will sell me? I collect Tampa Rays from packs I rip, and keep them in pages. Would like to transfer the pages out of the box the pages come in, to one of the binders.

    Let me know,

I just bought two boxes of ultra-pro platinum pages and they are a millimeter too long for the univenture binders. They fit in the binder but cause the pages to very slightly crimp at the edges. I had to go through and manually trim the very bottom edge off of each sheet with scissors. What a pain. Anyone else experience this?

Confirmed - just ordered 30 for myself. These things are fantastic. For higher grade sets, I use 4 pocket pages and put PSA slabs and/or Card Saver 1's in there.
