Hey
I cant figure these out and we have a test tomorrow in Algebra 1 over graphing.
I would greatly appreciate how I can figure these type of problems out.
If you give great info. that helps me tomorrow I might send you some cards!
x = 2/3y -4
-y = 2/3 +2
y = 3x
x = 3y
2x + y=0
2x + 2y=0
2y + x=0

m= slope and b= y intercept
For example: -y=2/3x+2 would become y=-2/3x-2.....graph up -2 for y and use -2/3 to get x also

y = 3x for this y-intercept is 1, so put a dot on 1 on the y-axis. the slope is 3 so from 1 go up 3 and over to the right 1. repeat this and connect the line.
-y = 2/3 +2 for this multiply whole equation by negative 1 so the new equation would be : y=-2/3x -2. the y intercept is -2 so put a dot on -2 on the y axis and the slope is -2/3 so you would go up to the right 2 and to the LEFT (negative) 3 and repeat then connect the dots.
basically you want to get all equations so Y is by itself and with no number in front of it.
example:
x=3y divide equation by 3 to get y with no number in front. so y=1/3x y intercept is 1 and slope is 1/3 so go up one and to the right 3.
they are pretty easy once you know the jist of things.
Many Refs, just ask.
On all of these you have to make sure y is by itself.
I was just going to say what ahendi said, but i wouldn't want to bore you, if you need anyhelp with the rest just say so

we having gotten that far yet. I've got a 99% in there, not to bad considering i barely pulled a B+ in the precalc part.

Did you know that if you bought $75 million worth of tickets to obtain every possible number arrangement in the Georgia lotto for tonight's drawing that you'd definitely win it? If I had $75 million to spare, I'd definitely do this to recieve the $325 million.
$325 million - 75 million = 250 million
250 would be a whole lot better than $75 million...

derrick, taxes! taxes! taxes! lol, you wouldnt get nearly that much if you chose to take the lump sum of money, if you took it in installments, you wouldnt make your money as quickly, but hte taxes would be less...
