Thanks to RYK's collection of DOG (Dirty Old Gold) coins, we have at least 3 new interesting acronyms to add to numismatic literature in 2011.
So how do you come up with "Spanish PhD's with Pets"?
DOG - Dirty Old Gold (pet)
DOS - Dirty Old Silver (spanish for 2)
DOC - Dirty Old Copper (PhD, Doctor, Doc. for short)
These are the obvious choices, but could also include:
DON - Dirty Old Nickel
(anything else?)

OK, yeah, yeah, I'm stretchin', I know.
DOA- Dead On Arrival (knowing as soon as you get a coin in it's going straight back from where you purchased it)
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
