ID help with old uniface (die trial?) medal thingie, please

It's almost certainly Darkside, so I posted it over there.

But I thought I'd link it up here in case somebody knows. I seem to recall selling some large uniface white metal die trials like this a few years ago in an eBay consignment for MrEureka, and I think they did pretty well, but at least one of his lots had a matched pair of obverse and reverse strikes, each on a separate pewter-like flan like this. (His was early 1700s).

TTT, in case somebody here is into medals and knows something of early 18th century European die trial strikings?

I've gotten some intriguing information over on the Darkside, but the picture is still a bit out of focus.

MrEureka said he didn't know. Wow.
