Found some stamps around the house dating back around the 30's and 40's. Where is a good place to find prices on these?

Most libraries have a set of Scott Catalogs for stamps. You should be able to identify them by Scott number and catalog value. However, the catalog value is only a guide. The stamps usually bring a very small percentage of Scott value.

You might also check eBay for collections of stamps, to see what is being offered and what they bring.
