Pretty cool gift from my mom for Christmas.

As some of you know, my mom is ill and that made Christmas this year both difficult and special. While the best gift I could ever get would be for her to be well, she gave me the item below. It's a small cap from the Harding/Coolidge campaign of 1920, and it belonged to my grandfather who took part in the campaign. I am thrilled to have it, I have no idea what it's worth but it is priceless to me. image

Where is your grandfather from? I live about 7 houses down from Hardings former home. Its now a museum, I really need to tour that place.

But very nice item, I like it alot.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
