Pack Rip Scan Backlogs... (3 - '72 FB Wax, 2 - '74 Packs, and finally a '75 wax has been added...) [

I mentioned these rips a while ago, just know getting around to posting results.
First up will be 3 1972 Football Wax packs. I had originally thought I had one each series but it turned out the one I thought was a series 1 was a series 2 even though it wasn't labeled as such.
I'll also be posting a couple rips from 74 and one from 75 in this thread in the following days.
Here is what the first 72 pack contained... (a few great cards here)

The last 72 pack contained... (a couple nice cards here, all 10 were cards I didn't have!)
Currently collecting 1934 Butterfinger, 1969 Nabisco, 1991 Topps Desert Shield (in PSA 9 or 10), and 1990 Donruss Learning Series (in PSA 10).
Nice Lilly!
Current obsession, all things Topps 1969 - 1972
<< <i>That a Boy! Nice cards and nice to see someone not afraid to rip em open!
Nice Lilly! >>
I don't buy anything unopened that I don't plan on ripping.
My latest three packs (2 more 72s and a 58!!!!) I'll admire for a while, but they will get ripped!
I'm not a Football guy, the only perosn I heard of was Mercury Morris.
1972 Topps Wax Football didn't have very nice looking packs. White with a Colorless photo and Football, how times have changed.

And kudos to George Blanda for place-kicking a football the way God intended it: straight-on.
A few nice looking 74's. That Elmo Wright looks great!
What are your intentions with the cards?
John
<< <i>That 72 High number Blanda is is one of the last cards I need for my Registry set. Don't look as though that one will pull the 8-9 grade I need.

The Blanda was part of my Secret Santa gift to goraiders and all the other nice ones shown here and about 40 others were shipped to PSA yesterday. The 72s well go in my set (replacing their raw counterpart), I don't have many 74s and don't have immediate plans on starting that set. I have yet to sell any cards on here or on Ebay although I do have many extra Browns (Graded and Raw) and many extra raw cards from the sets I'm currently building.
Maybe in 2012 I'll have to let a few of those go to another home.
Overall a very nice pack with some great condition cards, including a future Browns HOFer!
Never seen one of these before...
