I haven't followed Heller all that much. Has he ever been bearish on PMs?
The GFMS has typically been on the bearish side of published gold information/opinion. So I'm sort of surprised that they are anticipating China buying up around 675-700 tons of gold annually. They probably already consume all 350 tonnes of what is mined in China. The Chinese certainly don't want to be paying strong for their gold so they would be motivated to get their fill before it heads up again. Some accounts I've read have them as being heavy into paper shorts to ensure they keep prices down while they are buying.

I have no idea who Heller is or if he is a permabull. I do know that coin update has a history of being unbiased, to the point and just posting hard facts. I found it interesting that coin update article would be so bullish for gold. I thought it was a good article and a great read.
