Is PSA in the holiday spirit?

Every month as the new CC Specials are about to roll out, someone here starts a thread on what we would like to see in the next month's Special offerings. We all seem to agree that a $4.50 or $5.00 Special with lower than a 50 card minimum requirement is long overdue. Also, most seem to want a Special without specific year requirements. But all we get is the same old retread Specials month after month. I know Carol and Joe read these boards, so maybe....just maybe, can we get some of our wishes this holiday season as the month and year come to a close?

I wouldn't count on getting any of those anymore. Effective 1/1/12, the cost of that service is going up 25% to $25 per card, I hope I'm wrong (and my wife will tell you I often am), but I don't think their collector club special will go that low anymore. I can see the blue flips going that low, but not the red where they offer 2 services, the authentication of the graph and the grade of the card.

I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for a review special. I spoke with someone at PSA a few months back who suggested I might see one before the year was out. Looks like that didn't happen. I've got plenty of pre-half grade cards that are worthy of a review, but at $35 a card with no guarantees of actually receiving a bump, I've been holding off until they run another half-price special.
