I enjoy the Madonna theme found on central European coins. Here are two recent acquisitions in less than stellar condition, but I still like them. The thaler, by the way, looks much better in hand.

I love those Madonna reverses, very nice. On my 1793 the Madonna and child design is the same, but note on this later Taler they have moved the baby to the other side. I wonder if there was any significance to the change or just a change of design?
