Rare Swiss Shooting Medal

This one is a bit of an enigma. Ranked as RR by Richter (R-151b, Martin 100) supposed mintage of 69 for this 1935 issue. The series has 1931-1939 and a 193? date which this one is (193 missing a 4th digit). I am trying to research what the 193? is for. In any case, this is my recent pickup.

Neat medal, Z. I'm wondering if since these ran a number of years, could they have made a few in advance without a date and would apply the last digit when needed?
