PSA to Offer Free Population Report and Online Price Guide January 1st?

Saw this on another forum:

"Just read via Twitter that on January 1st PSA will be launching a FREE online price guide and population report. "

Is this true, and has anyone heard of this? Will it be a price guide for raw cards, graded cards, mixture? Haven't heard anything about it, but excited if it's true.
Collect HOF Autos and Anything Raiders.

    They are making the current SMR and Pop report freely available. It is graded cards only.

    Neither are very accurate or useful items, so even FREE seems a bit overpriced.

    I think it has some use. Maybe not for cards that are frequently resubbed, but for a number of cards it gives you a pretty good idea. Especially if it is the highest of that card graded. Not perfect, but I'll be glad to have it. SMR is still better than nothing I suppose. It at least gives you a ballpark number.

    that is a dumb statement...

    POP reports are VERY ACCURATE AND USEFUL for PSA 10 cards..

    and many many dealers base their starting prices on SMR prices...use ebay and see for yourself...

    POP reports are a good barometer for scarcity, especially in older, less common cards...

    HOW IS it worth less than free? just another dumb statement...

    i think this website should check for IQ and not allow in everyone, this would make for a better experience here PSA.
