ebay bargain for 1960 Topps Mantle PSA 6

1960 Topps Mantle

Is Deanscards really that out of touch with card pricing? It's just one of several vintage he's listed lately. I suppose his target market is the completely uninformed and/or the completely stupid.

What's wrong with asking $860.00 for a $275.00 card? LMAO

Yes....NOONE should complain about someone charging $800 for a $300 card!!! If someone wants to charge that and someone wants to pay it so be it!! It just ain't gonna be me! If I see someone charging $100 for a 4-pack of toilet paper though, me personally, I am NOT buying it!

That's fine, but you should be aware that it's not going unnoticed.

This is fairly odd. I have bought from Dean's Cards before (raw) and received some pretty high grades from those cards/stamps that I sent in. The prices I paid for those were fairly reasonable...but this is way off.

I bought from them once about 6 years ago and will never buy another thing from them again. Their raw is grossly overgraded with insane prices. And to return for refund is nothing less than a PITA with them.

Actually Collect Non Sport, but am just so full of myself I post all over the place !!!!!!!
  • I bought raw cards from them and got miscuts on several cards. Not slight miscuts, but cards miscut enough to see what the adjoining card was. And that was Dean's "Ex-Mt". Needless to say, last time for me.

"Dean's Cards (and most other sellers) have a professional, trained staff to handle this process. We have found that selling on eBay has become so labor intensive and expensive, due to the ever increasing fees. We sold cards on eBay years ago, but discontinued the practice because of the huge time and expense."
