I opened 2 boxes for now. I gotta say only 3 cards per pack suck. I got what looks like one regular Harper card and two serial numbered cards. One blue Phillies Cliff Lee numbered to 150 and one gold Mets David Wright numbered to 25. I only plan on keeping the Yankee cards. Are any of the 3 cards I mentioned worth listing on eBay? Thanks in advance for any advice.
Trust me - the Profar auto will be big in 2 years.

Would that be considered Eric Hosmer's best rookie card? The kid is going to be a great hitter, would't mind getting a couple of his rookie cards. The trouble is, with modern cards I never know which is the best one.

If the Wright is numbered to 25, it is an orange. I would definitely list that one--he has enough collectors.
The regular Harper would sell for a few dollars, you're probably better off keeping it, and the Lee might get a $0.99 bid.

The Profar was a Chrome auto in regular Bowman, so you can't get it in Bowman Chrome.

If memory serves me correct, the first "official" rookie card Hosmer had was Topps Chrome. The problem you run into with autographed rookies is that in many sets, the autographed card is not the "true" rookie according to Beckett standards, it's an insert or a parallel--this is true for his Bowman Chrome and Topps Chrome autographs. To some people that matters, to some people it doesn't.
I know the Triple Threads triple relic auto serial-numbered to 99 is a "true" Eric Hosmer rookie, and I think that is the ONLY autographed "true" rookie. That said, if you want the best "true" rookie, I would get a Triple Threads, but if you want the "best" "rookie-ish" card, I would go for a low-numbered parallel of any of the autographed cards he has.
I'm in the same boat as you. I got a bunch of $20 dollar boxes this weekend too.
I've ripped a couple of Hobby Boxes this year of this set and haven't gotten anything of worth really. I open the $20 box and I pulled a Bryce Harper Auto Refractor /500...out of a $20 box!? Also grabbed a Eric Hosmer refractor and Bryce Harper base from the same box.
Guess I'll stop shopping hobby and just go for those blaster boxes from now on.
I just realized that half of the boxes are platinum rather than chrome. Am I looking for the same stuff in the platinum as well? I opened 2 of those boxes so far and got 4 refractor type cards and 1 card numbered to 199 (Tony Wolters Indians). I think I like the Chrome cards better.
I had a little lottery ticket in a retail blaster bowman chrome box this past month. I opened a red refractor auto Matt Moore numbered 1/5. There was one that sold on ebay for 1600! But with my bad luck, my card was damaged. I had the decision to make if I try to sell it or if I try to have topps send me replacements. I found many more bad stories than good regarding topps replacements. I ended up sending it to Beckett for a grade so someone could not get me for SNAD on a sale...it ended up selling for 750. Im not complaining cuz I got it out of a 20.00 box of cards.

Was that the one where so many folks were bagging on you for sending it in??

Platinum has much less good content, Harper is just about the only non-veteran that is worth getting.
