Ive been reading the threads on the 25th Anniversary sets==all the sets, and 70s from ATS, the different labels from our hosts. Then looking at grade rates, pricing on the Bay==and lately, Ive noticed, a whole lot more 69s for sale, and it seems a lot less 70 sets. Also, on 70 singles, try to find an S or a Reverse Proof--I think its time to start seeing the cream rise to the top.

Whats even more interesting--if you look at what full sets are running--versus singles--you will pay much less for a full set, and much more if you make up a full set by buying them one at a time. Looks like the folks who want a full set dont mind paying a bit more to get their missing coins--and the folks who missed buying a set altogether are doing well just picking up cheaply priced graded full sets. Just my 2 cents, but I think Ill start listing a few coins now--as singles.

Kaelasdad ... you might be a little premature in your call that the fun is about to begin. But, in my view, "the fun will begin" sometime next year!

Edited to add ... gross ebay offerings of PCGS graded 25th Annv coins are down around 25% from where they were a couple weeks ago. This is an important indicator to me. My personal offerings are down closer to 75%. Coins are approaching levels (especially net of ebay fees) where I am becoming more of a buyer than a seller. In fact, over the past week or two, I believe I have bought far more $$$ than I have sold (and I hope that continues another week or two).

I was referring to the fact you stopped by to inform the op where You thought his post should be. Instead of giving the op the information he seeks. If the op is talking about selling a few off to recoup his intial investment than as long as he sells singles he should be fine. I would not sell sets at this time. Enjoy tom
