Can someone explain what happened here?

Could it have not been scanned when delivered? This is the first I've seen of this.
Usually it's delivered same day as out for delivery. Truck got jacked.....crap!

yup. happened to me a couple months ago......Sig. Conf. package scanned Out For Delivery and then poof!

    gone.

which means it either disappeared at your local facility or misrouted.....i was told that the so-called "wrong" carrier brings the package back for re-routing. sure they do.

didn't happen for me, so i just filed a claim through the eBay seller, who reimbursed me and then collected on his insurance claim from the USPS.

1957 Brooks Robinson rookie. nice, too.

i woulda preferred the card. image

go to your local facility first thing Monday to discuss this with a SUPERVISOR and be persistent.

It happened to me about 3 years ago Bryan. Some guy in AZ won approximately $400 worth of BGS cards from me. The mailer status was never updated after it was sent out for delivery. The buyer emailed me saying he never received the cards and filed with paypal a few weeks later.

Judging from his awkward emails, I came to the conclusion he was lying. I called his local po and spoke with the postmaster. I let her know what was going on and gave her the guys name and address. She then went on to say that the buyer in question seems to be having a lot of problems getting his mail lol! That's all I had to hear.

I emailed the buyer and told him that I know he received the cards and was just trying to scam me. I told him that I talked with the postmaster and she would be contacting him about all the "lost" he has not been receiving. I also said that I feel bad for him because you don't want to screw around with the post office and possibly be in trouble with the law.

The next day I received an email from him saying the cards just showed up and he would update the paypal claim image

It's kinda said that the whole situation could have been avoided if the carrier had just done their job.
  • Well hopefully this will show up. It was only about $10 with shipping, so I'm not
going to lose any sleep over it.
