Best type/style of marker for getting a basketball autographed?

Not a huge autograph guy, but going to what I guess you could call an upscale toy drive thing the Memphis Grizzlies are putting on tomorrow night, so I figured if I have my favorite pro sports team not named the New Orleans Saints in a room with me, I might as well get a ball signed. What type/style of marker would you recommend? Something I can get at Target. Black or silver? I have a new, black fine point Sharpie right now, but I'm not sure if black or silver would look better on a signed ball.

Thanks in advance. Happy Holidays to all.

ETA: Looking on eBay at some examples of team signed balls, I think I'll go with black unless I can find a white panel ball at Dick's or something.

I've always been a big fan of silver on a basketball.

Silver Deco Paint Markers are the best. You can get them at any art store.
