As we learned from the Langbord lawsuit, the wheels of justice turn ever so slowly.........................

I believe they were saved by the new health care reform.

The case was dismissed without prejudice in Federal court. PCGS has the option to refile the case in State Court. I do not know if that was done.

Lawsuits can be exceedingly time consuming, expensive, tedious and hard to prove. Especially if the lawsuit includes fraud claims. Heck, even breach of contract claims are difficult.

Then you have to consider what you will actually obtain/recover if you go through a lawsuit and win the case. Winning a case is hard enough. Collecting/recovering whatever it is that you win is even more difficult [especially if it is money awarded against someone who can not pay or will not pay]. Then you also have to consider what you are at risk of losing if you go through a lawsuit and lose the case.

I think there are far more important issues for the courts to be dealing with than the PCGS lawsuit.

Yes, there are far more important issues in the courts than the PCGS lawsuit. But equally well there are far less important issues in the courts. I hope PCGS continues its endeavors to limit coin doctors.

Wasn't that the purpose of the suit - the deeper pockets sending a message to the wrongdoers?

You do know that the coin hobby is a multi-million dollar industry, don't you? Considering the amount of money involved this is an important issue.
