Sports Card Show in Dallas, this Saturday 6/16!

I won't be setting up at this show, but I'll definitely be attending. The guys that are putting it on are really good guys, and their shows have been picking up some nice momentum lately. If you're in the Dallas area - stop by and support your local card show.

Awesome. It's not a big room, so I should be easy to find. I will have a table full of items that are all $1 - literally. It's all basically stuff that I can't justify listing on eBay (and I've got a LOT of it).

I'll be there -- probably around noon.

I sort of should be there as I have to buy some new shoes at the outlet mall next door (I buy specific type of shoes) and there is a store there that sells what I wear. So why not check on a few cards first, does not take much time.

A quick "thank you" to everybody that came out to support the Dallas Card Show yesterday. It was a tough weekend with the Tri Star show going on in Houston, but I think it was a really nice turnout considering.

I had a blast talking cards with the attendees, sold a decent amount and bought even more from one of the other dealers. Good times!

No problem at all - there will be plenty more of them. More importantly, I hope you're daughter is okay. I'm sorry to hear that happened.

How was the show? Did anyone pick anything up?

I had a table there. We had a good turnout, but there's weren't nearly as many dealers there as there usually are. The Houston show really hurt us there.

I picked up some really nice raw 60's and 70's baseball from one of the other dealers. I'm putting together a submission, and I needed a few more to get to the 25-card threshhold.

I'll have to meet y'all one of these days at a show. Always seems I have something going on Saturdays. I know I've got youth basketball the next couple months. Maybe this summer

She's OK, but it's every Dad's worst moment - seeing your little girl hurt like that. Deep puncture wound requiring stitches, with all the ER drama that entails, all because some neighbor hadn't gotten around to training a puppy that stands almost two feet tall.

Honestly I have a table with all $1 boxes set up. All pack fresh cards from my pack rips. I'm there to buy, as much as I am to sell - but mainly, I'm there to support the show.

The number of table varies. It's a small show - so I would assume it's going to be between 5 and 10 dealers set up. We'd love to have you out there!

BTW - for the record, I am not one of the promoters of these shows - it's put on by two guys named Dayton & Kyle (very nice guys). I just plug it here to help them out and to support local card shows.
