Being serious now- One whale off my checklist tonight. Thanks to Muggyman for selling it to me.

I grew up a Bengals fan. It was/is a tough road except 1988.

That Super Bowl run with Ickey, Boomer, Billups, James Brooks, Eddie Brown, Stanford Jennings etc. was just alot of fun for me.

Well, I despised Rice and the 49ers for years after that Super Bowl. However, as I got older, I really started to respect Rice and his greatness. I always liked his humility.

So Muggyman sold me

A GAI 1986 Topps Rack Pack with a Jerry Rice rookie and Boomer Esiason rookie on top.

That is my best unopened pack to date.

Will throw up a scan when I receive it.

Hi, wondering what you all think of some of these racks and cellos in my collection:

Nice packs. I especially like the double Rice RC pack. With the amount of racks that Topps made no collation pattern is absolute so it is conceivable to have Rice or any high value rookie in the wrong position in the rack. Best you can do is educate yourself on detecting fakes and then use your judgment (which you seem to have done).

I used to collect stars on top for racks but sold off my collection to focus on PSA 9 HOF RCs 3 or 4 years ago.

  • Thats a sweet pack. Congrats! Nice job Muggy!

That's a heavy duty 1-2 combination of rookie power showing. Congrats on a winning pull at the slots.
