Here`s a couple of wild looking EOR`s that just arrived... Haven`t come up with a name on the first one yet... Any ideas? Second one is called Spidey Magic... Hope you enjoy

Very sharp AB, very nice pics too!
  • The Priest....black collar like a priest wears and a ray of holy light coming down on the back of the head?
  • The Technicolor Torch: the bright silver area down the back of Lady Liberty's head looks for all the world to me like the torch that she carries. Rorschach would be proud of me image

Was a VERY late night icy drive home last night to conclude date night... image Some cool names guys thanks...All fit the coin pretty well but i`m really liking Speedie`s pick so far "Technicolor Torch"... Unless someone else comes up with a better one i will run that past the head Morgan Dollar namer in this house for final approval... image
You guys are correct about the first coin probably i dig that one a tad better myself... Second one has some cool features like booming mint luster and the crazy pattern is believed to have been from a rubber band crisscrossed over the ends of a paper roll...
Again Dragon the great pics are from "poorguy" (Brandon)... Thank you!

Exactamundo! image Ok so we figure that one name really is a perfect fit... "Technicolor Torch" Thank you Speedie We both feel that is the perfect name for the unique features of the coin. Have to say head Morgan namer had hickory dickory dock a close second... image
Just going for a pooch hike then i will post this evening just in, two outright MONSTER Morgan newps in a new thread... One is right on the verge of moose status and we will be looking for names on those as well.

A little wild for me, BUT I am glad to see that PCGS graded them and didn't give the "questionable color" genie to them.
  • Over the Rainbow for the first one... I love your taste in coins BTW!
  • AuroraBorealisAuroraBorealis Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭✭✭
Thanks ULNVino... Perhaps someday we can use that name on another Morgan...
Here`s a another downsized pic of "Technicolor Torch" that may give a better idea why we thought that name was perfect...

I'll suggest "Statue of Liberty" on the first one, since it appears that Miss Liberty is carrying a torch.
