I spent out my chunk last week and the week before.

I just have a gut feeling that we're gonna see $40+ in the next couple years. It just has to happen. Everything else is so munked up and seems to keep getting sugar coated by the g'ment and most media that when it's time to hunker down and chew our problems up (debt and spending) that most of the ignorant public's teeth will be rotted out.

I have no basis for this other than general observations and the debt clock.

people were making general observations (about trouble) and the debt clock (climbing) in the 1980s and 1990s. But there were better investments to be made than bullion

hoping to "get even" at 40 in "a couple of years" could very well stretch to a decade or two

that said, I too am a buyer again at silver under 20 and gold under 1400 (long term horizon)

I just heard that China has bought 300 metric tons of gold in the last quarter, so there's some support for that at least. I'm sure that's covered more in depth on here, but I don't spend a lot of time on this part of the forum.

Yeah, well - we're gonna see $30+ in the next couple years too. Now it should really be a healthy sign!
