Canadian nickel struck on penny planchet - not a goosechase!

Had an unknown person contact me today saying they have a Canadian nickel that is struck on a penny planchet. Provided a nearly worthless cell phone photo that would make even the worst photographers on ebay cringe. Assures me that it is copper like a penny. Says that the coin is quite a bit thinner than a regular nickel. Waiting on that photo now.
Looks to me like it's just a dirty/tarnished nickel. But if real, what would the value be (let's assume AU for grade)? Perhaps $100?

In the side view pictures of the nickels, nickel in question and what looks like a time, I see a pretty rounded edge on the nickel in question. Is this normal for undersize planchets?

Well, just Love coins, period.
I don't see any actual wear, but it's not in the greatest shape. I suck at grading moderns, let alone errors, but my guess would be maybe MS-63 at best?
Only found a handful of similar coins at Heritage
1976 5 cents struck on bronze cent planchet MS63BN PCGS - $276 (2005)
1997 5 cents struck on uncertain non-magnetic CuNi planchet (2.86g vs 4.6g normal nickel plan.) raw AU-MS - $92 (2007)
1978 25 cents struck on 1 cent planchet MS63 Red PCGS - $230 (2005)
And some other errors I came across and wrote for completeness.
1979 Canada 25c on 2.1g dime planchet NGC MS63- $276 (2009)
1986 1c on wrong planchet (CuNi of some sort) ANACS MS63 - $130 (2000)
undated 25 cents struck on penny planchet PCGS MS63RB - $299 (2003)
1979 5 cents on aluminum(?) planchet MS62 ANACS - $360 (2003)
Lot of two coins - 1979 cent on "foreign plan." and 1979 5 cents "struck on wrong plan." - both appear to be on same metal planchets, both PCGS MS63/64 - $184 (2007)
And finally, pics!
Side by side with same date/series penny and nickel.
here is a loonie on a 1 cent planchet.

I've only ever had a couple CCCS graded coins (both soft flips), but they seem pretty solid. I picked up an MS66 1949 dollar that's as good, if not better, than my PCGS one in the same grade. Their coins haven't permeated the market much yet though from what I have seen. I think their hard slabs will catch on eventually though.
