Anyone ever read "Bizzaro" comic strip?

COALPORTER

A guy was looking at a priceless painting and he ask the owner (or maybe dealer) if it was real.
The owner said, "Yes, the painting is real, but I'm a total fake"!!!

I could see replacing the painting with any number of high end rare coins
and it would kind of reminded me of some (but not most, of course) high end coin dealers sometimes.
(probably can't reshow it here because of copywrites).

The one with the two astronauts trying to jimmy their locked capsule door open after a spacewalk with a coathanger is the all-time best.

I like coins.

<< <i>You speaking of the superman subtexts form the '60's? >>

That was my first thought too. The twisted, chiseled-look superman characters.

But no, the Bizarro comic strip was about everyday life events looked at in a weird, surreal way.
