Should this PSA 1986-87 Fleer pack have a Jordan rookie inside?

I remember from busting packs at the National several years ago that the 1986-87 Fleer had two sets of six cards in the pack that alternate.

Perhaps I am confused because of the time that has passed?

For example

53(Magic), 1, 54, 2, 55, 3, 56, 4, 57(MJ), 5, 58, 6

I believe a Magic Johnson on the top of the pack should pull you an MJ.

The only thing that confuses me, on this is that I have pulled several MJ rookies and don't remember Magic being in the pack.

Am I getting the sequence reversed?

I'm guessing that's not the case, because wouldn't it have been sold by now? It was on ebay before too.

I remember pulling Jordon out of the packs and they also had Ewing in there, but no magic.

I believe Vinnie Johnson is the one you want to see.

There are two patterns in each 86-87 fleer pack. One will go up, the other will go down. So in regards to your pack, it depends on where the Magic card is located in the pack, as to determine is you hit will hit Jordan. If it's the top card on the pack, chances are the third card will be card 52.

I thought if Kareem or a checklist was showing it was a good signr for a Jordan.. It was a while ago but I thought it was mentioned in the 86 fleer group rip thread
