Special Faustina Lifetime Denarius

I was never in the market for a lifetime issue of Faustina Sr. but this one had popped up a few months ago & I saw it in my usual new listing run, and this isnt Ebay. After thinking about I knew something was special about it. Instead of the usual bird beneath throne and scepter behind, this was seated on throne. not a single online reference had this particular type & only one on a old CNG auction mixed lot, which was actually this coin.
Well I bought the coin and thanks to Curtis Clay, it is indeed a fairly rare type. Below is the Curtis writeup & of course the coin.
<< <i>A nice type, that I don't think I've particularly noticed before.
It's in Cohen 221, citing Paris, and hence in RIC 340, citing Cohen.
BM 145 has one from the Bank of England Coll., pl. 4.7, same rev. die as yours.
Strack 221 cites specimens in BM, Paris, and Vienna (maybe he knew others too), plus one with portrait left, in Berlin, ill. pl. VI.
None in Reka Devnia hoard, an indication of rarity. >>

What, tripped up by the forum robocensor, were ye? You poor, naughty, pottymouth!

You see, there IS a way to turn the tables on the robocensor and trip IT up. It just requires the typing of a few extra characters.I'd share this secret with you, but then I fear I'd be accused of contributing to the delinquency of an otherwise fine young lad as yourself.
Imagine my frustration a few years ago, upon completion of a complete set of Irish predecimal coins.
Every single one of my farthings also had a bird on the reverse: a woodcock.
As to Faustina: great coin, great design, neat toning, and a great discovery on your part!
You know who to PM if you ever tire of it.
I usually spell it as one word, as above.
But the forum robocensor objected to letters six through nine in sequence, because it thought I was referring to the female anatomy instead of talking about a timepiece.
So I had to break it up into two words: pocket watch.
That's not quite as annoying as the peacock/woodcock/cockroach thing, but still annoying. It'll trip you up with other seemingly innocuous words, too. It's probably some old Open Forum troll who discovered the workaround. (If ever a place needed the pottymouth censor, it was the old Open Forum.)
I'd just say the NBC bird is sitting on the throne of Juno and call it good.
Nice find bronzemat.

The coin does have great color in hand. Photo shows it well I think.
