Ebay scammer maddytate4

I was in contact with ebay user maddytate4 about an obvious fake auto card they are selling. The card in question is a 2001 Finest Emmitt Smith autograph. 2001 Finest auto's come in blue ink and are always faded. The card maddytate4 is selling is in black ink. It's an obvious trace job. I have sent a handful of emails to the seller telling them they should pull it but they are denying that the card is fake.

Here is the maddytate4 auction for the card: link

I hate to think that somebody is going to be out of a bunch of money because of some douchebag scammer. Is anyone here ebay savvy enough to figure out how to contact the winner of the auction? It will be over in a few hours.

I'd love for this scammer to get what they deserve.

I would also like to see him get what he deserves but would settle for the card going really high and the winner not paying!

Actually don't do that. I was in contact with the seller who originally sold it to maddytate4. He is going to win it back then is going to file a complaint with ebay/paypal.

It would be good for everyone to block this asshat and report the listing as well.

The thing that worries me is: for every moron who gets busted like this, how many meticulous scammers are out there operating undetected?

I nearly fell victim to a similar thing....It was a Topps Certifed Derek Jeter that should have been blue and was traced in a gold paint pen. He swore it wasnt fake but was easy to see that it was traced. His name is Jordan Vo from Los Angeles, CA area. I wish I knew if he had an ebay id. I believed his story that he got it from a card shop and then got nailed on another one of his fake items.

CONFIRMED! I matched them up in Photoshop. The serial number sticker on the back is the same too.

Maybe maddytate is Emmitt Smith's ebay user id, in which case the trace job is a real autograph?

Naw, "maddytate" is too masculine for it to be Emmitt.

Exactly right on! I did the same thing when received this email from the seller maddytate4 a few minutes ago. This guy is obviously dumber than a box of rocks.
