EBAY search problem

Something changed in the EBAY search function. I dont get options to screen for certified or unc etc. If i enter say 1915 in Lincoln's i get thousands of coins returned since I cant select uncirculated and certifiedto screen out the raw crap. This started several days ago. did something change? If so the site is almost unusable to me now. image

I have found putting PCGS NGC in the search title works. Since raw items are not allowed to use those search elements.

The only problem with that is you have to search seperately for NGC and PCGS coins. Thats a pain. Something changed in their search function. Thanks

Here's a way around that, type your search like this:

    1915 (NGC, PCGS)

you can eliminate items from your search by including the word preceded by a minus sign and followed by a space before adding the next minus sign and word to be eliminated.

Keep in mind that every word in your search not followed by a minus sign has to appear in the resulting titles. The more words you include the fewer hits.

Once I have a good search set up with all the words excluded, I save the search in my Ebay folder in my browers favorites bar.

Here's my search for gold coins: gold -copy -replica -flake -nugget -ingot -mini -gold-plate -cpu -mils -estate -sovereign -nickel -colorized -guide -medal -medallion -bond -chinese -layered -bars -bill -note -australia -china -plated -bar -ring -pendant -peso -clad -recovery -scrap -panda -franc -paydirt -jfk -certificate -scale

Governments can print currency. Only the people can print faith in it — and they’re running low on ink.
