Awesome. You must have been a a very good boy
this year for Santa to bless you with a very nice
present. Congratulations !!!
The sale of the Wolfson Collection was a major event. The highlight was an 1804 silver dollar, which sold for the astounding sum of $36,000. I'd guess that was about 5 times what the average US worker earned in 1963.

I think I saw the delivery truck in my 'hood tonight.
<< <i>Mine arrived too
Not mine.
In fact, they said today that they haven't sent my coins out yet and they don't know when they will. I've had it with them. Their auction is amateurish and it takes them a month or more, for me at least, before I see my coins. I'll stick with Heritage or Teletrade.........funny thing is Stack's is part of Teletrade
Did you have to put up the driver and the horses for the night? MJ
Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

That was a long wait but it looks like the coin was worth the time.

Heck, the coin started out white when they loaded it into the delivery vehicle.

Thanks for the delivery van pic RYK, cracked me up when I saw it this morning.
I think now that Stacks-Bowers is in their new facility and things settle down, delivery times will improve. I wouldn't give up on them, those of you who are frustrated with the shipping delays. Since Chris has taken over, they've been running some exceptional material in their auctions. I expect more good things from them coming next year, hang in there, I'm sure the shipping issues will improve.
