Ebay- Buyer backs out- what now

Had $99.99/best offer on a Tebow jersey. Got an offer of $85- sat on it for a couple of days seeing if anything better came in. Nothing better came in- so I accepted. Got an e-mail from the buyer stating that since she hadn't heard anything back- her husband bought another jersey thus they're not buying my item.
I haven't sold anything on ebay in quite a while- so I'm need of some advice/direction. If I relist the item- will I just be out the insertion fees? No final value fees since no money changed hands? Open an unpaid item case?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts/advice/etc.

Or if you don't feel like being hostile you can just mutually cancel - I typically mutually cancel regardless of how BS their reason.
<< <i>I believe if it's a mutual cancellation, you'll get your fees back. Send the buyer a cancellation notice and ask her to accept it >>
This is correct. Bidder doesn't deserve a NPB strike IMO.

In the future - I suggest that you put a disclaimer that all offers are valid unless canceled and the buyer will be responsible for purchasing the item if the offer is accepted - even if its days later. If not, that's what feedback is for
<< <i>I think you've gotten really good advice so far - send that notice for the buyer to void (and now it seems like they're doing YOU a favor.

LMAO, like a disclaimer means jack poopies to Ebay - and sellers can't leave feedback
Or not, I though would file a NPB against them because who is to say they don't pull this crap all the time.
I place more blame on the seller for ignoring the offer
I'd go the mutual route myself.
If they reply or not you get your fees back.
FV that is.

+1 exactly, when I get an offer I make a decision within 30-60 seconds, am I going to sell it for this price or not? I have never sat on an offer! When I make on offer, if its not acted on one way or another, within hours, I withdraw it!

Correct. This is the best way for you to go. You should have no problem with the buyer agreeing to cancel the sell.

How can you withdraw it?
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Thanks for the info. I assume that has to be done b4 the seller accepts?
