Twice this week I made offers on coins and was told it was too much. I bought each for less.
Twice this week my offer was too low and the seller passed.

Based on the sheer volume of posts like this, I think PCGS should start a dedicated "I Made Offers on Coins And Was Told It Was Too Much" forum.

The estimate I gave you way back was CLEARLY way too low.
Sometimes though, if we're close, I will make a counter offer twice the distance from the goal line, so we can meet in the middle and both feel like we got what we wanted.
