I could only buy 2 things from this tray...

A good friend of mine just returned from vacationing down in Texas. He owns a B&M shop here in town. In addition to buying/selling bullion, he's a bullion collector of mainly the older poured stuff or anything unusual/unique.

I only recognized a couple of the makers... Monarch, Nevada Mining Co...

I was able to purchase the two unopened rolls of Onza's. It just so happened that I had my camera in the truck, so I grabbed it to shoot a couple photo's for my online bullion junkie friends. image

Any other help with the makers? One of the 10oz smaller ingots has a lions head/mane and that is the only maker mark.
Also, I thought I had seen the teardrop stamp here on the boards before...

I would of picked the same two things. The Onzas

I like the 2 kitkat bars though. Never saw those before. I had the lion head one before and I could not get a premium out of it

The Onza's are pretty neat. You don't see them as unopened rolls every day although they are probably not rare by any means.
I think that lion head might be an early Crown Mint piece? The 2 long/skinny 10oz bars have GA stamped in it.
  • Assuming the premium to melt is the same across the board I would grab the libertads personally. Otherwise I would pick the two most interesting bars in the group and to me that would be the McKay bar and the one with the Lion.

I like the two Mexican rolls you purchased very much. There are a few rolls such as these in my own bullion holdings.

I've had 2 1985 Libertads in my pocket all day, nice pickups! Was going to pick my paintings up from a studio and gallery today, couldn't make it, and was going to give each of the owners 1 while I pulled my stuff off their walls for being stupid.

Nice pickup. I'm guessing the libertads are 84 or 85?
