Need help with PCGS

Does anyone have Gayles phone number or email address?

I just got a bill for over $400 where I sent in some coins for my (FREE) pedigree.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I hate to think that a company that deals with millions of dollars of coins have problems with their accounting.
Always looking for a good nickel.

Yes I received a bill today also for 54$.... supposedly it was part of a submission I sent in a month ago.. but a customer service rep called my house and I told her my credit card number to take care of the charges... apparently she didnt charge my card. I told them to wait and let me check my credit card statement.

Thanks for the info in the original post that you got the mystery bill after having a set pedigreed. I might also be a "victim" of this mystery charge. This is my post on a similar thread in the US Coin forum:

I also received a bill from CU -- but in Saturday's mail. This one was for $20.85 and refers to a submission invoice on 9/25 of last year -- so almost 7 months ago.

I checked my credit card records and I had a PCGS charge of $20.40 on 9/5 of last year -- I think I had a coin reholdered for pedigree-- I can't imagine what else would be that cheap.

There were no other charges or transactions in Sept. that I know of.

I made no less than five calls to CU today trying to get an answer, left several voice mails and never got a human.

    cheers, alan mendelson
  • Hi :
I think they must have a glitch in their billing system. I just got a notice yesterday that I owed $ 15 for a submission made in Dec. for a SBA coin that had a bad registration # on it. It was supposed to be free . This was the first I'd heard of a charge , but it showed 90 days late.

  • My invoice was for Nov.
The submission # matched my pedigree.
They need to get someone in accounting that knows what they are doing.

Any others out there with the same problems.

I too got a bill for $5.20 for a submission I made at the Long Beach show in February. I called PCGS Customer Service and they fixed it so I don't owe anything. The lady I spoke to said it was some sort of shipping adjustment.
