I may have to cobble together a "click here" website for all these poor folks. The Ad revenue could pay for my next couple of subs.
Working on the following: 1970 Baseball PSA, 1970-1976 Raw, World Series Subsets PSA, 1969 Expansion Teams PSA, Fleer World Series Sets, Texas Rangers Topps Run 1972-1989
----------------------
Successful deals to date: thedudeabides,gameusedhoop,golfcollector,tigerdean,treetop,bkritz, CapeMOGuy,WeekendHacker,jeff8877,backbidder,Salinas,milbroco,bbuckner22,VitoCo1972,ddfamf,gemint,K,fatty macs,waltersobchak,dboneesq

Its horrible. Its completely irrational. You feel compelled to check even though you just checked only 5 minutes ago. This feeling goes on for days, then weeks, sometimes for months. When it does finally pop, you have to print it out and constantly review it and wonder what the hell happened to the MinSz, EOT's, and other sundry clunker grades. And finally, do the automatic upload of the submission into your inventory.
It can be a terrible form of psychosis. You should try it.
Psychosis, def-Psychosis is a loss of contact with reality, usually including false beliefs about what is taking place or who one is (delusions) and seeing or hearing things that aren't there (hallucinations).
* Symptoms:
•Disorganized thought and speech- Like tuning out your wife, staring blankly at her, all the while wondering how quickly you can get away from the dinner table to see if your grades popped.
•False beliefs that are not based in reality (delusions), especially unfounded fear or suspicion- Believing that your 63 Aaron couldn't possibly have been a PSA 6, the grader must have dropped it and dinged a corner - or maybe he swapped your Aaron for one of his because there is NO WAY that card should have come back as a "6".
•Hearing, seeing, or feeling things that are not there (hallucinations)- Thinking you heard your phone's email alert app go off signalling the receipt of an email from PSA notifying you that your grades posted, only to realize that it was the "low battery" alert tone. But you go ahead and login anyway and double check, "just to make sure".
This is known as “bad luck.”

not to mention that you HAVE to do it to catch any mechanical errors, etc. before they ship. I really wish they sent the email, then shipped the next day, as insane as that sounds.

The ad will go something like this, "Have you found yourself submitting dozens of 1990 Score Sid Bream cards to PSA because you ran out of modestly valuble cards to submit? Have you lost your family and your home because you refuse to leave your computer for fear that your sub could pop while you're away? Here at the Field of Dreams recovery center, our professional staff will care for you in our secluded environment with no internet connections within miles. Within weeks, you'll discard those cokebottle eye glasses that became necessary due to hour after hour of focusing on computer screens. Within weeks, we're confident you'll regain your sense of smell and once again regain your ability to walk. You'll leave our treatment facility with the ability to re-enter society as a functional human being."
I checked status last night, this morning and just a few minutes ago.
Payment not debited yet??? must be something wrong.
Can't be says OK.
Thanks for the heads up, I will check it tomorrow for sure.

<< <i>I imagine the rush of adrenaline you get when the sub finally pops is not unlike the fix a heroin addict gets. I'm thinking of starting a treatment center for recovering "subaholics".

I shipped my first multi-order sub on Monday, which includes 58 cards (December Special #1), two packs (my first pack sub), and one ticket (my first ticket sub). They went out on Monday afternoon, arrived and logged by Wednesday afternoon, and I've checked probably 50 times in the past 48 hours. Even my Droid has a bookmark to go straight to my order status page (so I can check while I'm pooping). I check almost every half hour while at work (even at 8am ET). I check at night, even past midnight. I'll be checking on the weekends, even though I know these people have lives beyond grading my cards. Sometimes I even check my past subs just so I can see if the system is working. Problem isn't the word for it. This is why I only send cards in a few times a year. I can't be having this all the time. I'm weird...
<< <i>Everything appears to be back up now. >>
Which pretty much tells me that while all PSA employees are at home with their Family's on a Sat. Night, living a Normal Every Day Life, certain of YOU are still clicking on Subs!!!
