Public Television - Antiques Road Show

Was watching on Saturday and some guy came up to the table with pristine 1880's cards, I believe. Charles Comisky, etc. He had a box of them. They were never glued to anything and looked just great - great white borders, and sharp.
They guy on the tv said, I think they're worth about $6,000.
I started to laugh.
I'm also sure the guy offered him that price after the show was over.
