Recent '72 pick up's... crossovers? Update... Fisk Scan

Been buying a lot of cards for my newest '72 set and picked these two up. I got them both well below VCP in their current holders and a ton below VCP if they cross to PSA. Crossover worthy?
Picked up another one tonight for way less than VCP

This is one of my favorite cards of all time

I have no idea how this card fell through the cracks at this price, lol

<< <i>There isnt a lot of wiggle room on the Fisk as it has to get a PSA 9 for it to work out for you. Anything less is a killer. The Mays has more flexibility since crossing lower to an 8 breaks even, and an 8.5 makes you a few bucks. >>
yeah, I wouldn't cross them for anything less than their current grades, wouldn't make sense from a market value perspective. Avg. VCP on the Fisk in it's current holder is $286, but $422 in a PSA 9 holder. VCP on the Mays in it's current holder is $145 but that's because there haven't been any recent sales. In a PSA 8.5 holder it's $96 and I think $55 or so in a straight 8 holder.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

My experience with cross-overs is not very good. In fact, I can't recall actually getting any card of significance successfully crossed-over
by PSA. Perhaps its a bit harder to assess the card in an existing TPG slab so the grading process may need to be a bit more conservative.
Can't say for sure.
If you really want to take the chance I say crack it out and send it in raw hoping for the best. If it doesn't come back the way you hope
you can either try it a second time or send it back to SGC raw, as SGC is pretty likely to be consistent and give you another 96 holder.

Good luck!
