National Geographic willing to pay $10k for a piece of Boxing History in Philly

America’s Lost Treasures, a new television series from National Geographic, is searching the country for objects that tell the story of our History! We are coming to Philadelphia the week of January 23rd.
Do you have a Horseshoe from the Walnut back when it was still called “the New Circus”?
Letters or Documents from the First Stock Exchange in America?
What about Authentic Colonial Attire, an Underground Railroad Quilt, or Boxing Memorabilia?
If you’ve got a prized family heirloom, or found object, with a connection to history and a great story to tell, National Geographic may offer up to $10,000 to display your piece in a special year-long exhibit of America’s National Treasures.
Not sure if your item is the real deal?
You might get the opportunity to bring it down to The Franklin Institute, one of the country’s best museums, and have it examined by experts to find out how your piece fits in to the rich tapestry of American History.
If you have something that relates to a person, place, or event that you think may have historical significance contact us ASAP as space is limited!

Edited to add: The fact that it's National Geographic (hopefully!) and a member's item being shared with the country, is the cool factor
Objects can be submitted through our website. Just go to the National Geographic website and type: America's Lost Treasures in their search bar and it will bring you to our NatGeo page.

Here is one of the nicer modern boxing cards.
Here is the Mike Tyson second year boxing card.
You should track down the person or persons that own the PSA 10 Mike Tyson Rookie. That would be a true boxing treasure. These are awesome but not the best that exists.
<< <i>We are Original Productions, we make Deadliest Catch, Storage Wars, Ice Road Truckers, Wild Justice, etc... Rocket City Rednecks is made by Flight 33. >>
Again welcome to the boards, and it is cool to hear that you are with Original Productions. I myself work in middle management for a major cable company so I get to interact all the time with both TV channel reps and reps from different production companies pitching series. I am glad to hear that you are not with Prometheus Entertainment at least who are well known for such junk shows, err I mean classic shows like Ancient Aliens on History Channel.
For Storage Wars I have a recommendation, we need to see more of Brandi and less of everyone else.
