Joke of the Day

Ebay customer service.

I'm so po'd I don't even want to get into it but there's nothing like getting attitude from a overseas Ebay employee who clearly doesn't comprehend how Paypal and Ebay work at 1am in the morning (she was telling me it was impossible that I made a 'one time payment' for seller fee's from my Paypal 'balance' and that it's impossible that my Paypal funding source was 'balance' before a bank account or credit card when making automatic Ebay seller fee payments. ...and she explained that any refunds that go directly back to Paypal from Ebay (that were originally paid with Paypal balance... overpaid seller fee's) need to be processed through my bank. image

Did you call them or did they call you? Sounds like someone may want your banking information.

No, I used the contact customer service form on ebay.com, they gave me a pin code and a phone number to call. Any optimism quickly turned to my preconceived notion that their overseas agents will always have poor communication and verbal skills, not be properly trained, and that Ebay really couldn't give a crap. ...next time I'll hunt around the net for a US rep #.

I have had them yell at me on numerous occassions. When you get the overseas reps, many of them, especially the supervisors, are very rude and really couldn't care less about you. They have no knowledge of eBay or Paypal and just read their scripts.
