Finally Finished My '63 Registry Set

It took me four and a half years but I was finally able to finish my '63 registry set with the addition of this great looking Aaron (as soon as the original owner takes it out of their registry anyway). It's hardly the highest graded set on the registry but it was a lot of fun to put together. I learned a lot, made a few early mistakes, and met some great people. 252 out of the 576 cards (almost 44%) came directly from this board. A huge thanks goes out to sagard who hand delivered 110 total cards from the set over two occasions. At least 10% of the set came from RonBurgundy as well.

Great job. You have a really nice set. I think the 63's don't get the appreciation they deserve. It really is a tough set to put together in high grade in my opinion.

Thanks for all of the comments. I'll probably slowly upgrade the set for a while. I don't know if I'll reach 7.0 because there are just too many things I want to collect. I forgot to post this set related item as well

As for my next project, the unopened guys on the board have really increased my interest in that area of the hobby. Here's part of my start on that endeavor

    Nice set, congratulations.image

I always thought that card of Duke Snider, he could have retired from baseball and been in western movies. Just looks like a cowboy for some reason. Looks like he's just daring some gunslinger to draw on him.

And Stan Musial is going, "I don't want a fight with you pardner. Just calm down Duke"
