Real or Fake 1939 Ted Williams Play Ball

I was looking at this auction last night but could not pull the trigger on bidding. When I zoomed in on the Williams I did not like the dots compared to other Williams on eBay.

What do you guys think?

The cards look okay. The dots are caused by the moire pattern issue when scanning. Williams accounted for 100% of the value of the lot and it sold for a very strong price.

Well that sucks for me because I came really cose to bidding on it but got scared away. I was only willing to go in the $125 range so I might not have won it anyway. One of those last minute deals but I got scared away because it was only around $50 at the time and so I thought guys with more experience than me must have been scared away. Goes back to my nothing ventured, nothing gained motto...
