Before Mike's thread went the wrong way........

I was going to post that all I want for Christmas is my mom to be well.
2011 has been a real gut punch. Can't wait for it to end.

I know that would be the best present you could ever get.
Ya know? I have a good sense of humor - but sometimes....
I'm pretty much done with CU.
I can appreciate joking & fun like anyone else, but your thread derailment I noticed a few minutes after I talked with my mom on the phone. Oh well.
My mom bought me my first pack of cards in 1978. When she's gone, so is some of my childhood.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

All my best to you and your family. I lost my mom unexpectedly at a young age a couple of years ago and I associate my collecting with her. She was the one who would drive me to card shows with my paper route money and always had my Christmas Stocking and Easter basket full of packs growing up. We spent countless hours sitting at the kitchen table putting cards in order for sets. I trust you can cherish the time you have together and all of the wonderful memories. Best Regards Jeff
I hope you get the best ever Christmas present Tom. Prayers sent for your mom.
You might remember I lost my mom a couple years ago...not a week goes by something doesnt remind me of her.
Clear Skies,
Mark
