Ticket stub help

I just found this stub from the Milwaukee Brewers. Game on July 24 1967.

The Brewer did not start playing until 1970. I knew the White Sox played "home" games in Milwaukee in 1968.

I did not know anything about 1967.

After some research I found that this comes from an exhibition game between the White Sox and Twins.

The first game "involving" the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club.

So what is the value?

Thanks

After those four National League games, Gorman Thomas was never the same, and neither were the Brewers, and come to think of it neither was I.

  • Not sure on value but the Brewers team name and history in milwaukee goes way back, to the 19th century.

Correct but the first American League Milwaukee Brewers moved to St. Louis over 100 years ago (now the Baltimore Orioles). And the minor league team ceased when the Braves came to Milwaukee.

I was not talking about the name. I was referencing the franchise.

  • Ticket world is becoming a very active place. Of course supply and demand help determine you value, also what happened special during the tickets event. 1st game or event tickets are not real strong unless something memorable took place. Being this is a exhibition game and the condition of the stub, I would guess 10 to 50 range (with 50 being on a very good day!)
  • May I hijack for a quick question? Is there a good way to store ticket stubs?

I have a lot of concert ticket stubs and sporting event stubs. All personal experience type stuff. I have them in an old photo album right now (the kind with the peel back, staticy sheet pages).

I'd prefer to put them in card holders. Can I get taller card sleeves for tickets?

Yes, they make them... check your LCS or you can order from bcwsupplies.com
  • If it is a ticket stub collection, rather then just a couple, I would suggest going by your local stamp shop and asking for storage pages. They have pages that fit in binders andlike baseball card shop ones, come in various breakdowns, but hold a little tighter then the plastic sport card ones and are a little thicker. Thats what I use, along with baseball card sheets for the smaller stubs.
