So last night, I had a major auction screwup and placed modest bids on two of the same card. I woke up having won two T206 Ty Cobb cards!
PSA 2.5 Polar Bear back Portrait Red for $692.30 plus s/h Sterling Auction Link
PSA 3 Piedmont back Portrait Red for $819.00 plus s/h Collect Auction Link
Both of the above prices include the buyers premium. Honestly my bids were not high per VCP and I did not expect to win either one of them but I guess December is a slow month so I ended up winning both!!!
Does anyone want one? I would prefer to keep the PSA 3 for my personal collection and see if someone wants to buy the 2.5 at cost. I am open to letting someone have the 3 to help get me out of the jam.
Here is the VCP information on both:
Latest Auction Prices for: PSA 2.5 - Average Price: $809.00
5/24/11 eBay $809.00
Latest Auction Prices for: PSA 3 - Average Price: $973.01
11/6/11 eBay Auction $921.01
8/17/11 eBay Listing $1,025.00
So if anyone wants one, please PM or email me: eloy100@gmail.com
We can work out the details over the phone as well.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I reached a deal with Tommy (corvette on the boards) to help finance bringing in both of the cards for now. I think the 3 is so nice and in a pre half grade slab that I want to see them both in hand. Unless it has a crease that I can't see, I think it would be a 3.5 with a review and maybe a 4/4.5 on a good day with a crack out. Depends on how hard the light stain on the back hurts the grade.
I do want to say that I highly recommend Tommy's service as his rates are very fair and allow nuckleheads like me to not to have to sell stocks and instead use cards to leverage into more vintage/classic cards if you find the right deals. Risk/reward deal but hey this is just a hobby and fun for me!
