Do you get a complimentary TrueView if getting Secure Plus?
I thought I read it somewhere on the PCGS site, but now I can't find it.
Time to put the crack pipe down, I guess.

Paul,
They've been doing the low-quality scanner pics of the coin obverse since Secure Plus started. After a few months, they started doing the low-quality scanner pics of both the obverse and the reverse.
However, very recently, PCGS put in it's product spotlight on the homepage (currently Item No. 3) the following:
<< <i> PCGS Secure Plus Now Includes FREE, High-Quality Images
PCGS Secure Plus is the most reliable protection you can give your coins. With the PCGS Secure Plus™ service, each coin (both sides) is laser scanned, imaged, and registered into the Secure Plus data base. A metallic analysis can also be performed to help detect counterfeit or altered coins. If a coin has been tampered with, it will be revealed. And now, high-quality images of all coins submitted under Secure Plus are available under Cert Verification on the PCGS website, free of charge.

Based on the sample provided, it appears to be a much more high-quality image than the previous Secure Plus Scans (which are also available in the cert verification of the sample coin). The high-quality images appear to be comparable to the free CoinFacts images that have been taken for condition census coins in the past which are basically TrueView photos w/o the special TrueView background.
Anyone here send any SecurePlus submissions recently that is willing to comment and/or provide some cert numbers for us to check out??

The grade was posted yesterday, so maybe it takes a while before the image is available.
Thanks

Sometimes they do take a couple of days but IMO the UHR is over photographed as it is. 32 MS70 coins and 34 MS69 coins.
I don't think I'd hold my breath waiting for a CoinFacts trueView if I were you.

<< <i>Occasionally, PCGS CoinFacts will Trueview a coin for inclusion on that Web Page. If this occurs, then the photo also shows up on the cert verification page.

Check out Cert. # 16246331 pictures. The first pictures must be TruView. Click on "Added images obverse" to then see the image of the coin in the normal cert picture quality. Wow! What a difference.
Here is my scan of this coin.
