It Finally Arrived!!!!!!!!!

I have wanted this card in this grade for a long time. I finally was able to find a card that was free of any surface blemishes with strong corners. I sacraficed some centering to pull it off, but I am so pleased with this card in hand. Thanks for letting me share!

Sweet!!! Got to be proud to own that for sure!

Hard to imagine it gets nicer than that!

So give us some background. Did you send it in or did you purchase already slabbed. Give us the scoop.

    But it's 100-0 centering!

    Nice pickup.

Congrats and nice pickup Matt. It doesn't get much better than an Aaron RC that looks like it's fresh from the pack! image

Matt...sweet card! I would sell off some stuff to have that one also. You are really putting together a nice Aaron collection.

WOW!!! That is one beautiful card. I don't think the centering takes away from the eye appeal of that card at all.

Congrats on catching that whale. image

Thanks Guys, I appreciate it. Bought it slabbed from Memory Lane. I was actually shocked they worked with me on it as much as they did. I really like to purchase at or around VCP, and was able to do so with card.

Matt, I agree with Mike. The centering does not take anything away from the eye appeal. Just a beautiful card. Congrats.

BTW, you might want to keep that one away from samspop. image

Great pickup! Now you need a '54 graded wax pack to go with it!

CONGRATS Matt ... it's a BEAUTY! Glad to hear that Memory Lane came down from their $5,200.00 asking price and sold it to you around VCP. Job well done.

Matt, firstly, that is an AMAZING card!

now, i see that its the old flip from back when there were no half point grades. that has me (at least) wondering, is it possibly an 8.5?
Think about it. Throw the "well they always look at centering" out the window.
When it was graded it was too good for a PSA 7, but not at a PSA 9

    something to think about.

Eric, Don't worry, I cracked it out of a PSA Authentic/Alterred Slab. I am guessing the crease on the card in the lower right corner has been pressed.
